Summary
- I am a fellowship trained child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with additional residency training in leadership, preventive medicine, and quality improvement. My clinical expertise involves the collaboration of psychiatry with other clinical specialties to provide timely access to quality mental health care. I have written book chapters on the assessment of both ADHD and Personality Disorders in Emergency Room settings. I developed a course to teach primary care providers about collaborative care and mental health screening, a curriculum in Adult ADHD for primary care resident physicians, and a psychiatry resident rotation in collaborative care. In my clinical work, I consult to emergency medicine and primary care physicians to provide psychiatric treatment and diagnostic recommendations. I am working with Mass General Brigham to bring these collaborative care services to primary care practices throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, especially in regions where direct access to mental health professionals is limited. I also work with the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program to provide psychiatric services to youth experiencing homelessness. I am passionate about using my expertise in both clinical psychiatry and implementation science to improve access to quality mental health treatment.
