  • Dr. Judd Moul is a urologist based in Durham, NC, specializing in prostate cancer, urologic oncology, and Retropubic Prostatectomy (RRP). He completed his medical education at Sidney Kimmel (Jefferson) Medical College, followed by an internship and residency in Urology at the National Capital Consortium (Walter Reed AMC). Dr. Moul served as the Chief of the Division of Urology at Duke University Hospital, a position he held from 2004-2012, and was previously the Director of the Center for Prostate Disease Research at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research/Uniformed Services University. He is currently the James H Semans Professor of Urology at the Duke Cancer Institute and in the Department of Urology at Duke. He has an extensive publication record in the field and has led many clinical trials, including those focusing on prostate cancer treatments. His contributions to healthcare have been recognized with honors such as America's Top Doctors by Castle Connolly and the American Urological Association Gold Cystoscope Award and Distinguished Service Award. He has also been awarded an Outstanding Alumni Award from The Pennsylvania State University and a similar award from the Eberly College of Science at Penn State. He has been married to Ellen Jablonski Moul, a former NIH administrator for over 40 years.
