Summary
- I am an Associate Professor of Neurology with a secondary appointment in the O’Donnell Brain Institute at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. I serve as the head of the Neuro-Oncology Section as well as the head of the Healthcare Policy, Community Health, and Global Neurology Section. I also run a large neurofibromatosis and schwannomatosis practice, incorporating clinical and translational research.
More broadly, I serve on multiple national and international committees, including vice-chair of the Advocacy Committee in the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), member of the Brain Health Committee in the AAN, and I represent the AAN to the European Academy of Neurology’s Brain Health Mission. I also sit on the board of Neurofibromatosis Network, and on the Clinical Care Advisory Board of the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
