Summary
- Since 1987 I have practiced Family Medicine in Louisville, KY. Since 2006 I have done so as an employee of Baptist Health. In the last few years I have come to believe that the power of engaged physicians and patients is the only thing that will improve the fragmentation of our healthcare system. To that aim I began blogging and meeting empowered patients and doctors on the web through Social Media. It's a great journey but the specter of physician burnout threatens the care of our patients and ourselves.
