- Dr. Keith E. Brandt is an Aerospace Medicine specialist based in Houston, TX, specializing in space medicine. He completed his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1991, and later earned a Master of Public Health from UT Health Science Center of Houston in 1998. Dr. Brandt underwent residency training in Family Medicine at Community Hospitals of Indianapolis from 1991 to 1994, and in Aerospace and Preventive Medicine at the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine from 1998 to 2000. His experience spans aerospace medicine, wilderness medicine, aviation medicine, space medicine, and hyperbaric and undersea medicine. He has supported numerous space missions of the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, Soyuz, and SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft as Crew Surgeon and spaceflight controller. He is currently supporting the development of the next US missions to the moon.
