• Kelly V. Davis, MD, FACP, FAAPS, MACR, is an Internal Medicine specialist. Internal Medicine is a medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases. Internists are known as diagnostic specialists and are specifically trained to utilize evidence-based data in the diagnosis and management of complex patients with undifferentiated, multi-organ system diseases. Many Internists subspecialize in one of the branches of Internal Medicine, but all Internists are trained to some degree in each of the subspecialties. Internists often engage in teaching and research while they care for patients. In addition to broad training in the various Internal Medicine subspecialties, Dr. Davis has taken part in additional training and research in Rheumatology and is a Member of the American College of Rheumatology. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Oklahoma in Norman and, after several years working at the OU College of Public Health, decided to pursue a Medical Degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. He earned his post graduate categorical Internal Medicine certifications at OUHSC and participated in bench research in Rheumatology and Hematology/Oncology there as well.
