He is a Diplomat and Fellow of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (with certification in Healthcare Quality and Management) and is a Fellow of the American Board of Healthcare Executives.
    A past member of The Joint Commission’s Technical Advisory Panel on Quality Measures, the American College of Ob-Gyn (ACOG) Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Committee and Team Leader of the ACOG -VRQC Program.
    He is a founding physician of Women's and Children Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana and past President of the Lafayette Parish Medical Society. He is a member of the National Medical Association and parliamentarian of the national OB/GYN Section.
