I am Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Early in my career, I was full time attending at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in internal medicine, rheumatology and emergency medicine but gravitated to emergency medicine. I was the Associate Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine and the first Residency Program Director of the emergency medicine residency. I left full time academics to pursue private practice in emergency medicine at several ER's while participating as clinical teaching staff at Harbor, UCLA and St. Mary Medical Center. I was Medical Director and Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance for 21 years, Managing Partner for two other emergency medical groups and own an urgent care in Playa Vista. I have been an Oral Examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine for 35 years. I am still working full time and enjoy caring for patients.
