Summary
- I am a rheumatologist and researcher based at the University of Colorado Anschutz. I am also the Director of the Autoimmune Disease Prevention Center (ADPC) which has the vision that prevention of autoimmune diseases will be a part of routine clinical care.
My major research interest is in 'pre-rheumatoid arthritis (pre-RA)' which is the period prior the onset of the first swollen joints in RA. In particular, I am a co-investigator on the StopRA: National research study which is enrolling individuals from across the USA who are anti-CCP(+) but do not have inflammatory arthritis. Study participation can all be done on-line and with a local blood draw.
