- Dr. Kevin Kwan is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of complex spine conditions. He completed his neurosurgical residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and advanced fellowship training in complex spine and deformity surgery at Columbia University in New York.
A Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS) and certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Kwan focuses on minimally invasive spine surgery, artificial disc replacement, spinal fusion, and robotic and navigation-guided techniques. His clinical interests include cervical and lumbar disc disease, sciatica and nerve compression, spinal stenosis, and scoliosis and adult spinal deformity.
Dr. Kwan has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and book chapters, and is an invited speaker at national and international meetings. He emphasizes conservative care first and reserves surgery for when it is the right choice, with a patient-centered approach built on clear communication and direct access to the surgeon.
