• I’m a practicing, board-certified internal medicine physician and the founder and editor of KevinMD, where I work at the intersection of medicine, media, and technology. Since founding KevinMD in 2004, I’ve focused on creating a platform where health care stories can be shared with honesty, perspective, and impact.
  
  Through KevinMD, I amplify the voices of physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, medical students, and patients, people who experience the health care system from every angle. My work is driven by a belief that better health care communication matters and that patients deserve access to reliable, trustworthy health information online.
  
  Today, KevinMD reaches more than 3 million monthly page views and a community of more than 250,000 followers. The platform has been recognized by Forbes as a “must-read health blog” and by The New York Times as “a highly-coveted publishing place for doctors and patients.” I also host The Podcast by KevinMD, a daily show that shares the stories of those who intersect with our health care system but are rarely heard from.
  
  Beyond publishing and podcasting, I founded Physician Speaking by KevinMD, a physician-run speakers bureau that connects dynamic physician voices with health care conferences and events nationwide. I am also a national media commentator, keynote speaker, and co-author of Establishing, Managing, and Protecting Your Online Reputation: A Social Media Guide for Physicians and Medical Practices.
  
  I earned my medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, completed my internal medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center, and practice primary care in Nashua, New Hampshire. I’m honored to be an inductee of the Healthcare Internet Hall of Fame, a recipient of the AMWA McGovern Award, and a New Hampshire Magazine Top Doctor.
