  • Dr. Kevin Vincent is an Associate Professor with Tenure and currently holds the Peter Indelicato, MD Endowed Professorship of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida. Dr. Vincent is the Division Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Director of the UF Running Medicine Clinic, the Medical Director of the UF Sports Performance Center, and the Medical Director of the Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Vincent received a BS in Sports Medicine at the University of Connecticut and an MS in Exercise Science at the University of Massachusetts and a Ph.D in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida. After completing his graduate training, he attended medical school at the University of Florida. He received his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia. His research is supported by grants from the NIH and he has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles. He regularly presents at both national and international conferences, particularly in the areas of Running, Running Medicine, Sports Medicine, Sport Nutrition, Resistance Exercise, and exercise adaptations in healthy and clinical populations. Dr. Vincent's clinical interest is Running Medicine, Sports Medicine and musculoskeletal medicine with particular emphasis on running, and overuse injuries. Dr. Vincent is the founder and course director of the annual UF Running Medicine Conference.
