Kimberly Hoang, MD, is a neurosurgeon based in Atlanta, GA, with subspecialties in brain and spinal tumors. She completed her residency in Neurological Surgery at Duke University Hospital in 2018 and a fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2018 to 2019. Dr. Hoang holds a medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine and a BS in Chemical Engineering. Her expertise includes glioblastoma, endoscopy, brachytherapy, gliomas, and craniotomy. She has contributed to several publications on topics such as meningioma pathogenesis and blood-brain barrier permeability. Dr. Hoang serves as the Principal Investigator for clinical trials focused on brain tumor treatments, including the PODS trial and studies involving stereotactic radiosurgery methods.
