He currently staffs surgeries for residents and fellows at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Dr. Patel's clinical interests include diseases of the retina and vitreous, cataract surgery and complications, and secondary intraocular lens implantation.
Dr. Patel currently accepts patients at the University of Texas Southwestern clinics primarily in Fort Worth and part-time in Dallas.
