Summary

  • While receiving his Bachelor's Degree at UCLA, Dr. Ghadjar helped organize a large scale benefit gala raising $20,000 for breast cancer research. After receiving a Master’s Degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University, he went on to graduate in the top 25% of his medical school class. During medical school he was a Top 50 Finalist in the global competition in entrepreneurship at the St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland.

    Dr. Ghadjar completed his internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center as well as other Stanford University-affiliated hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area. He underwent anesthesia training at University of Southern California and LA County Medical Center. At LA County Medical, a Level One Trauma center with over 7,000 traumas per year, he became proficient in resuscitating patients with critical blunt and penetrating wounds. He has cared for patients with advanced illness undergoing organ transplantation including liver, lung, and kidney operations. He has received training in high-risk obstetric surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, and complex pediatric and neonatal cases at Children’s Hospital of LA. He currently practices a broad range of anesthetic techniques, including obstetric, pediatric, regional/orthopedic, thoracic, intracranial and multi-level spine procedures, high-risk vascular, robotic surgery, as well as high volume outpatient procedures.

    Dr. Ghadjar enjoys an active educational and administrative role giving evidence-based lectures on the latest anesthetic techniques and new pharmaceuticals. He also helps shape quality, safety, and cost-efficiency policies at his current hospital in Santa Clarita in Southern California. He is a co-founder of MQHG LLC, a start up company focusing on travel and storage efficiency, and is a patent owner (Patent # 10349717).
