Summary
- I’m a board-certified general, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeon based at Washington Health in Fremont, CA, where I’ve been practicing since 2001. My surgical expertise spans a range of specialties including breast, colorectal, endocrine, and minimally invasive procedures. I’m specifically trained in robotic-assisted surgery using the Da Vinci Xi system.
I began my medical journey at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India, and went on to complete my general surgery residency at Tufts University–affiliated hospitals in Massachusetts (Baystate Medical Center, Springfield and St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Boston). I later pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Southern California, where I also earned a Master’s in Healthcare Administration.
Throughout my time at Washington Health, I’ve been fortunate to serve in various leadership roles—including Chief of Medical Staff, Chair of the Department of Surgery, and Physician Advisor for Utilization Management. I currently serve on the Board of Directors at Washington Outpatient Surgery Center, where I was President from 2019 to 2022.
In addition to my clinical work, I’ve contributed to research in laparoscopic surgery, with several of my studies cited in academic literature. As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, I remain committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and continuously advancing my surgical skills to best serve my patients and community.
