Summary

• I have been a registered nurse since 2004 and a nurse practitioner since 2011. I am very passionate about pain management, orthopedics, and spine care. I personally understand how much chronic pain can impact all aspects of one's life, and I strive to collaborate with patients regarding their care. I enjoy educating patients about disease processes and their options for their care. I am also interested in occupational health. Though I have not worked in occupational health, my experience in pain management, urgent care, and primary care could make occupational health a great fit for me. I enjoyed working in urgent care and would be interested in working in urgent care or emergency medicine in the future, although I am only certified to see adult patients. I appreciate respectful, collaborative relationships with all members of the health care team in an effort to accomplish the best patient-centered care. I like to learn from and teach other team members. I am articulate, work will with patients and families, and I'm able to work independently as well as with other team members.
