Summary
- I am a Staff General Surgeon and Vice Chair of Education for the Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease Institute. I also serve as the Chair of the Department of Surgery and Vice Chief of Staff at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital, where I lead initiatives that advance surgical education, physician wellness, and compassionate leadership.
I am core faculty for the General Surgery Residency Program at South Pointe Hospital and a member of the ACGME Osteopathic Recognition Committee, where I contribute to shaping national standards for osteopathic training. I hold academic appointments as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Guided by osteopathic principles, my work bridges surgical education, mentorship, and holistic physician development—empowering surgeons to practice with excellence, empathy, and integrity in caring for the whole person.
