Summary
- Kristen Ann Ehrenberger breathes medicine and lives to eat. A clinician-historian who trained in downstate Illinois and Pittsburgh, her interests include the human body, disability studies, the history of food and nutrition, and modern Germany. She is the inaugural editor of the History of Medicine Section at the Journal of General Internal Medicine. She is a founding editor at H-Nutrition; currently serves on the editorial board of the Bulletin of the Allegheny County Medical Society; was a founding co-organizer of the German Studies Association's Body Studies Network; and she writes most of the daily clinical pearls at Teaching Rounds on Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. She is working her dream job of practicing outpatient medicine for individuals with special needs and researching/teaching the history of medicine.
