Dr. Laurie Wenger graduated from Cornell University and received her professional education from George Washington University School of Medicine and went on to complete her ophthalmic residency at North Shore University Hospital.

Practicing since 1999, Dr. Wenger is an active member of her profession and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Ophthalmology. In addition, she also holds the honor of being Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Wenger believes in giving back to the community. She provides voluntary medical services to Project Access, which assists low-income families in finding medical care. Dr. Wenger is committed to providing the caring, individualized attention that each patient deserves.

Dr. Wenger was named a Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine in 2012. Dr. Wenger was named Best of Bethesda: Ophthalmologist of the year for 2024!
