Summary

  • I am a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist who completed my residency in Radiology at the UCLA Health System in 1974. In 1975 I undertook the task of being the Section Chief for Breast Imaging. My subspecialty at that time was just beginning to develop. At that time residents in Diagnostic Radiology did not rotate through Breast Imaging and it was not included in the American Board of Radiology examinations for certification until 1990. This actually gave me an opportunity to become one of the leaders in this new subspecialty. I was able to serve on and lead multiple committees that developed this field. I have dedicated my career to Breast Imaging for almost 40 years.
