  • Lawrence Kaplan, MD, MHPE, MACP is a general internal medicine specialist based in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Kaplan has held significant teaching roles, currently serving as Associate Dean of Interprofessional Education and Professor of Medicine at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, where he has been since 2002. He has had multiple roles in medical education and has published over 50 articles and abstracts, including analyses of educational methodologies during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is a Master of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the Philadelphia College of Physicians, has been named a Top Physician by Philadelphia Magazine, and he has received the Temple University's Great Teacher Award. He has served on multiple committees for the American College of Physicians, the Society of General Internal Medicine, the National Board of Medical Examiners and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.
