Summary
- As a vascular and endovascular surgeon, I specialize in the medical, minimally invasive and surgical treatment of arterial and venous disorders. The main procedures I perform are peripheral angioplasty and stenting, endovascular aneurysm repair, lower extremity bypass, carotid endarterectomy/stenting, dialysis access creation/management and treatment of varicose veins. Along with team members at the Temple Heart and Vascular Institute (THVI) I also offer care to patients with complex vascular disorders. The THVI limb salvage center aims to offer extended efforts at amputation prevention while our aortic center provides care to patients with complex thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections. In addition to my clinical activities I also perform research aimed at improving the quality of care received by patients with lower extremity wounds due to diabetes, peripheral arterial disease and venous disorder.
