Summary
- I am a triple boarded hematologist/oncologist with 20+ years of experience. I obtained my medical degree from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland where first I worked in the Department of Pharmacology, then Department of Hematology. I did a 6-month research fellowship at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden.
I did my residency and fellowship training in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens/Long Island. I have worked as a hematology/oncology attending in Manhattan, upstate New York and mostly in Brooklyn. I had some experience in stem cell transplantation (mostly autologous) and immunotherapy including administration of high dose of IL-2 in a community hospital setting.
I also speak Polish and Russian fluently. I have minimal knowledge of medical Spanish.
I am an active member of ASCO and ASH and frequently attend conferences. I enjoy being involved in clinical trials.
