Summary
- I specialize in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, and I serve as the Chief of UHealth Sports Medicine, a division of the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. The division is the official sports medicine provider for the Miami Hurricanes.
I also provide coverage for the University of Miami Football and Baseball teams and I am the Medical Director & Team Physician for the Miami Marlins.
I was board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and completed a sports medicine/shoulder fellowship and a clinical instructor sports medicine and research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
As an expert on conditions resulting from sports-related injury, I have authored multiple articles on sports medicine and articular cartilage, as well as a wide range of other Orthopaedic disciplines.
