Summary
- I am a board certified cardiologist. I am Chief of cardiology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I have been on faculty at Texas Tech since 1989. I am an interventional cardiologist and have been the program director for the cardiology fellowship for many years. I enjoy most all outdoor activities, especially hiking and snow skiing. My nephew cajoled me into climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro as his PhD graduation present. He also hoodwinked me into ice climbing...once. We have hiked the West Highland Way in Scotland and climbed Ben Nevis. I enjoy reading and gardening.
