Summary
- I have been dedicated to Women’s Health my entire nursing career, working in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Well Baby Nursery for 18 years. I received my RNC in Inpatient OB in 2006 and started pursuing my MSN/ Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner studies in 2015 at Drexel University. In addition to my already rigorous program, I also chose to complete a Women’s Integrative Health Certificate, which emphasizes the use of evidence- based complementary and integrative therapies, nutrition, and energy medicine, within the framework of conventional healthcare in order to achieve optimal health. I firmly believe in a mind-body-spirit approach to care. I am an adjunct professor at Drexel University, teaching Women’s Integrative Health and Advanced Women’s Integrative Health, both graduate level courses, and also Introduction to Complementary and Integrative Therapies, an undergraduate course. I worked clinically at the Center for Pelvic Medicine and trained with Dr. Susan Kellogg Spadt; my special interests include vulvodynia, female sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, and pelvic floor disorders.
