Dr. Leonard Wexler is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist based in New York City. A graduate from Boston University School of Medicine, his medical training includes internships and residencies at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Jacobi Medical Center. Dr. Wexler also completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the National Cancer Institute/Pediatric Oncology Branch. His research has been published in prestigious publications such as Cancer Research, Urology, and Clinical Cancer Research, and includes a focus on bone and soft tissue sarcomas, particularly rhabdomyosarcoma. He has conducted a clinical trial on high-risk rhabdomyosarcomas, using Irinotecan and Carboplatin. Dr. Wexler has received several awards, notably being named multiple times as one of America's Top Doctors by Castle Connolly.
