- Dr. Lucky Sekhon is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist and board certified obstetrician and gynecologist who cares for patients at RMA of New York’s Manhattan and Downtown (SoHo) Offices. She specializes in diagnosing and treating reproductive issues and has particular expertise in fertility preservation (egg freezing), LGBTQ family building, and in vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic testing of embryos. She also uses minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy to treat a variety of surgical conditions including endometriosis and uterine factor infertility.
Dr. Sekhon completed her undergraduate education at McGill University in Canada. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland where she graduated with Honors. While in medical school, Dr. Sekhon was awarded the Medal of Excellence for her research in male reproductive health. Dr. Sekhon completed her residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City where she also served as administrative chief resident. Her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was completed at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/RMA of New York fellowship program.
Dr. Sekhon has dozens of scientific abstracts and numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals regarding the personalized medicine, genetics, and embryonic gene expression networks. Dr. Sekhon is an assistant clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
