Summary

Dr. Luis J. Borda is a dermatologist specializing in dermatopathology and Mohs micrographic surgery. Originally from Chimbote, Peru, he earned his medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. Dr. Borda completed his dermatology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), where he was one of only five international medical graduates in the U.S. to match into dermatology that year.

Following his residency, he pursued a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where he will be completing his Mohs surgery fellowship (Skin Cancer Surgery and Reconstruction) from 2025-2026.
