• Dr. Shakir is the founder of Lake Oswego Vein & Aesthetic 2014. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeon. She moved to Portland after completing her medical school in Iraq. In Portland, she attended OHSU and completed 5 years of clinical training in General Surgery. Then spent one year at UCSF to receive further advanced training in Minimally Invasive Surgery. As a clinician, she encourages her patients to take an active role in their care and guide them to make the right decision in that regard by providing up-to-date outstanding quality care.
