  • Dr. Marc Weiss is a neonatologist based in Maywood, IL, specializing in neonatology and perinatology with subspecialties in neonatal ethics and neonatal respiratory failure and lung development. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health in 1982 and completed his pediatrics residency there as well. He completed his neonatal-perinatal fellowship at Magee-Womens Hospital/University of Pittsburgh in 1988. Dr. Weiss had many positions at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and as a Professor at Loyola University Medical Center since 1988 including NICU medical director and division chair. Since 2020, he has been the fellowship Program Director. His expertise includes bronchopulmonary dysplasia, apnea of prematurity, meconium aspiration syndrome, neonatal respiratory disorders, and persistent fetal circulation. His publications encompass topics on neonatal care and he has been recognized multiple times as a "Top Doc" by Chicago magazine and West Suburban Living.
