Summary
- Currently, I am a PGY-4 Orthopaedic Surgery Resident at the University of Kentucky, graduating in June 2025, going to Duke for fellowship subspeciality training in Foot and Ankle Surgery in 2025/2026. My long-term career plan is to grow into a clinical leader that works with patients, clinicians, and administrators to meet the challenges of our healthcare system, both at the individual and population-level.
Prior to residency, I received a MD degree from the Wake Forest School of Medicine, while conducting research in Sports Medicine and Arthroplasty. Before medical school, I received a MPH degree from the Boston University School of Public Health concentrating in Health Policy & Management. Where I received training in a broad spectrum of public health specialties including Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Policy, Social & Behavioral Determinants of Health, Health Law, and Environmental Health.
Prior to that, I graduated from Duke University with a BS degree, then gained four years of professional work experience (both inside and outside the healthcare industry) through which I have built a strong foundation in leadership, management, finance, analytics, cross-functional teamwork, and consulting.
