Summary
- Currently, I am a Orthopaedic Surgery Fellow at the Duke University, graduating in July 2026, with subspeciality training in Foot and Ankle Surgery. My long-term career plan is to grow into a clinical leader that works with patients, clinicians, and administrators to meet the challenges of our healthcare system, both at the individual and population-level.
Passion for research and innovation with over 30 peer-reviewed publications and over 350 citations. Fortunate to have had the opportunity to present research at numerous domestic and international conferences.
I completed Orthopaedic Surgery residency at University of Kentucky with subspecialty training in Adult Reconstruction (THA/TKA), Hand Surgery, Shoulder & Elbow Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery (Adult and Pediatrics), Pediatrics Orthopaedics, Foot & Ankle Surgery, Sports Medicine Surgery, Spine Surgery, and Orthopaedic Oncology. With specialty training at Shriners Hospital for Children and Veterans Affair (VA) clinical sites.
I received a MD degree from the Wake Forest School of Medicine, while conducting research in Sports Medicine and Arthroplasty. Before medical school, I received a MPH degree from the Boston University School of Public Health concentrating in Health Policy & Management. Where I received training in a broad spectrum of public health specialties including Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Policy, Social & Behavioral Determinants of Health, Health Law, and Environmental Health.
Prior to that, I graduated from Duke University with a BS degree, then gained four years of professional work experience (both inside and outside the healthcare industry) through which I have built a strong foundation in leadership, management, finance, analytics, cross-functional teamwork, and consulting.
