Overview of Dr. Ryan
Dr. Mark Ryan is a pediatric surgeon with specialization in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. He completed his residency in surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, after graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2007. His clinical experience is focused on trauma and surgical critical care as well as acute care surgery. He has authored multiple publications on topics such as firearm injuries, thromboelastography, near-infrared spectroscopy, noninvasive hemoglobin monitoring, 3D reconstruction for surgical planning, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Ryan is recognized as a Fellow by the American College of Surgeons.
