Summary

• Martha is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and is board certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult-Gerontology Health. Martha earned her BA in Public Relations and Architecture from Texas Tech University in 2007. She enjoys meeting new people and building lasting relationships, understanding that trust, respect, and communication are required to do so. After she earned her undergraduate degree, she worked for 2 years for The Navigators at The University of Wisconsin at Madison. She loved leading students along their journey of spiritual growth and uses that same philosophy in her practice with adults today. She understands that spiritual health is necessary for emotional and mental health, no matter the age. She has worked at Senior Adults Specialty Healthcare since 2017, when she graduated with her Masters in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been under the leadership of esteemed psychiatrist Dr. Jaron Winston. Following his retirement, Martha and her colleague, Eduardo Maraboto, continued his legacy by establishing Austin Mind Care, PLLC, where they remain committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for older adults. Martha’s clinical expertise, collaborative approach, and dedication to patient-centered practice guide her work in supporting the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral well-being of the aging population.
