  • Dr. Martin Palmeri, a native of Western North Carolina, returned to his hometown of Asheville in 2013. He is honored to care for the community who helped raise him. Dr. Palmeri is a compassionate and dedicated physician who understands the trials and tribulations that a cancer patient and their family endure. He believes in treating the whole patient and not just the disease. He is known for the time and attention he gives each of his patients. Dr. Palmeri is also keen on collaborating with numerous nationally recognized institutions to develop a cutting-edge personalized treatment plan for his patients. Cancer care is challenging and throughout one’s journey people need a coach as much as doctor; during these times, Dr. Palmeri’s kind smile and hearty laugh is often much appreciated.
    Dr. Palmeri is a graduate of Duke University and received his Medical Doctorate at the Brody School of Medicine. He attended Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire for his Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship. He is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.

    Dr. Palmeri is a dedicated husband and father who is excited to raise his 3 beautiful children in Asheville, his hometown.
