Summary

I am currently working in the post-acute and primary care space in several skilled and long-term care facilities in Salem, Oregon. My prior work experience is in emergency medicine with 5+ years treating high acuity patients in the busiest ER on the West Coast. I also have experience with in-home care focused on medically complex patients and palliative care.

Prior to becoming a physician assistant, I earned two undergraduate degrees at the University of Iowa with a B.S. in Human Physiology and a B.A. in Journalism along with minors in Biology and Spanish. I am also a certified paramedic.

My professional experience outside of healthcare is in the outdoor industry as a retail buyer and store manager as well as international travel as an adventure tour guide in Central America and Mexico.
