- Dr. Matthew Bizzarro is a Neonatologist/Perinatologist based in New Haven, CT. He completed his medical education at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1999, followed by a Pediatrics Residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, and a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Medical Center from 2002 to 2005. Dr. Bizzarro currently serves as the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations for the Department of Pediatrics, Yale School of Medicine, and the Chief Medical Officer of Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. He has published several research papers focusing on neonatal infections and infection prevention. Additionally, he has served as the Principal Investigator in clinical trials related to NICU antibiotic outcomes and the pharmacokinetics of drugs administered to children.
