    Dr. Koepplinger is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery. Dr. Koepplinger treats a variety of disorders including complex upper extremity trauma and fractures, ligamentous injuries, tendon, and nerve injuries, and arthritis of the shoulder, wrist, elbow, and hand. He also treats Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, Trigger Finger, Tennis Elbow, and other sports injuries of the upper extremities.

    Dr. Koepplinger is privileged to be the preferred upper extremity consultant for the Houston Rockets of the NBA and the University of Houston Athletic Department.

    Dr. Koepplinger received his undergraduate degrees from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and a Master's degree from Louisiana State University. He attended medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. His training includes an internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, and a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.

    Dr. Koepplinger is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Association of Hand Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
