Overview of Dr. Lowe
Matthew Lowe, DO, is a psychiatrist and obesity medicine specialist with a subspecialty in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Lowe completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Nationwide Children's Hospital/Ohio State University from 2008 to 2010, and earned a DO from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. Dr. Lowe also completed a residency in psychiatry at Ohio State University Hospital. In addition to medical training, Lowe holds an EdD in Educational Leadership, a MS in Math and Statistics, and an Executive MBA. Current roles include practicing psychiatry at Sunny Days Psychiatry, LLC and serving as CEO and psychiatrist at Providers for Healthy Living. Lowe has experience managing conditions such as bipolar disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Research contributions include publications on obesity's impact on mental health, medical marijuana prescription challenges, and parenting stress in ADHD.
