Breast Surgical Oncologist

Summary

I am a breast surgical oncologist at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. Prior to completing fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center, I was a board-certified general surgeon with five years of experience in the U.S. Army. I served at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, where I practiced general surgery, served as chair of the hospital tumor board and as preceptor for the surgery clinical rotation for physician assistant students enrolled in the Interservice Physician Assistant Program. At Blanchfield breast surgery involved 15% of my practice. I also served on two deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and performed damage control trauma surgery on combat injured American soldiers, their host country colleagues, and civilians. In addition, I performed general surgery at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA and Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia, GA.
