Summary

• As a board-certified, fellowship-trained specialist in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, Dr. Santos has shaped her training and practice to help women with pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Santos’ training started with medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where her experience in all areas of medicine helped her to hone her desires to focus on women’s health. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University Medical Center and completed her fellowship in FPMRS at Emory University.
  
  Dr. Santos worked at Providence St. Jude Medical Center since completing her fellowship in 2010. As the SJMC Medical Director of Pelvic Health, she developed its pelvic health program, one of the most comprehensive pelvic health programs in Southern California as well as the most comprehensive program within the Providence Health System to date. She has recently moved to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Institute for family/life balance, also serving as Medical Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Health, and will help establish and grow the Urogynecology program to serve her own community. She also strives to optimize women’s health within the Providence Health System as a whole, through her work as physician lead for Women's Health on the National Advisory Board for the Providence Women and Children’s Institute with goals to improve and expand Women's Health across the system. And not only is Dr. Santos committed to expanding and promoting women’s health, she is also dedicated to promoting and elevating women in medicine. She is the founder of the SJMC Women Physicians Group, Member of the Providence Medical Group Board of Trustees, and co-chair of the Providence Women Physicians Resource Group. She also wears additional hats in medicine, working as an active speaker, surgical educator, consultant in medical industry, and CMO of a local start-up in women's health.
