• Dr. Mercedes Pacheco is a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Specialist, and currently works in Rhode Island, providing hospice care to individuals in their homes. She graduated from the University of Miami, Leonard Miller School of Medicine in 2001 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University. After practicing as a primary care physician for 8 years, she then completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Harvard School of Medicine. For the past 10 years, Dr. Pacheco has dedicated her practice to providing palliative care in various settings, and she currently works for HopeHealth, a non-profit organization that provides palliative and hospice care throughout Rhode Island and portions of southeastern Massachusetts.
