A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and Duke’s psychiatry residency, he has a 32‑year career rooted in academic medicine—known for research and dedication to teaching community psychiatry and the psychiatric care of medically ill patients Serving as psychiatrist for Emory’s Winship Cancer Center, a founding member of the South Florida Prostate Cancer Clinic, and consultant at Emory and Grady Hospitals, he has expertise in managing complex psychiatric symptoms intertwined with physical illnesses.
