• Dr. Michael Charles is a general surgeon based in Tulsa, OK, specializing in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. He completed a surgical critical care fellowship and trauma surgery at Washington University /Barnes-Jewish hospital in St Louis and a surgical residency at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Since 2011, he has served as a trauma surgeon at Ascension St. John Medical Center and ACS/COT Level 1 trauma center in Eastern Oklahoma. He became the Trauma Medical Director in 2018, a position he currently holds. His academic contributions include various publications focusing on trauma and surgical outcomes.
