• Dr. Michael Davis is a seasoned urologist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico with 25 years of practice experience. His subspecialties include kidney transplantation, urologic oncology, and general urologic surgery. He graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 1995 and completed his urology residency there in 2000. He completed urologic oncology fellowship at University of Miami in 2001. Additionally, he holds an MBA from UNM and a distinguished honors MHA in Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University. Dr. Davis's areas of expertise include complex urologic oncology, kidney and ureteral stones and renal transplant. He is the surgical director of the Renal Transplant Program at UNM. He has authored several publications in reputable journals, such as The Canadian Journal of Urology, AUA News, Becker's Hospital Review, Urology, and Urology Practice. He is an active researcher at UNM and has several research interests including microplastics, urinary lithiasis, and renal allograft storage and perfusion.
