Overview of Dr. May

I am a board certified medical oncologist and assistant attending on the gastrointestinal solid tumor service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I have a clinical and research focus in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. I have clinical training in medical oncology, research training in genomic and clinical research analyses, and training in clinical trial design (ASCO/AACR Methods in Clinical Cancer Research Workshop, SWOG Fellow’s Program). My potential as a clinical investigator in pancreatic cancer has been recognized with competitive awards at institutional and national levels (Conquer Cancer/ASCO Young Investigator Award, Conquer Cancer/ASCO Merit award, Dr. Mark Heaney Hero Award, NCI R38, NCI T32, NCI K38). I have authored over 25 research publications in journals including Nature Genetics, JCO Precision Oncology, Journal of the National Cancer Institute (JNCI), The Oncologist and JAMA Oncology. These manuscripts have over 600 citations. My work has been presented 19 times at national conferences including a first author oral presentation at the 2024 ASCO Annual Meeting and oral presentations at the 2023 AACR Special Conference in Cancer Research and 2022 AACR Annual Meeting for work in which I played a leading role.
