Summary
- I am a board-certified Vascular Neurologist with a subspecialty in neuroendovascular interventions to manage cerebral and spinal cord vascular conditions.
My clinical areas of Interest are medical and interventional treatment of brain aneurysms, vascular malformations of the brain, spinal cord, and head and neck including arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs), and cavernous malformations as well as carotid/vertebral artery disease, ischemic and hemorrhage strokes, subarachnoid and subdural hemorrhages, tinnitus and venous disease, intractable epistaxis, and tumor embolization.
My research interests include exploring novel endovascular avenues and techniques in treating cerebrovascular conditions and beyond, new neuroendovascular device clinical trials, advanced neuroimaging in cerebrovascular diseases.
My aim is to provide an exceptional clinical care to my patients. I am also passionate about mentoring undergraduates, paramedics, medical students, and medical trainees. As an active member of several societies including the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA), Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN), and Society for Neurointerventional Surgery (SNIS); I co-authored several research articles and presented abstracts at national and international conferences.
