Summary

• I practiced as a family doctor for over 20 years in a rural Pennsylvania setting, mostly in private practice with my physician wife. I am board certified in both Family Medicine (acofp) and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (aobnmm). As a D.O., I enjoy hands-on diagnosis and treatment.
  I am also a certified professional coder (CPC), compliance officer (CPCO) and medical auditor (CPMA). I serve AAPC as a National Advisory Board member (2018-2021) and have served the AOA as an alternate advisor on AMA RUC. I've worked as a forensic medical auditor.
  Since July 2019, I have serves Touro University California as an associate professor in Osteopathic Principles and Practice. I've been a principle investigator on numerous IRB approved research projects addressing new federal health record documentation policies. I am interested in helping patients co-author their health records, particularly the History. I am also interested in improving the flow of medical data so providers are relieved of burdensome documentation requirements.
