Dr. Minoo Kavarana is the division chief of pediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina located in Charleston, SC, specializing in pediatric cardiac surgery, heart transplantation and adult congenital cardiovascular surgery. He completed his medical education at M.P. Shah Medical College and has extensive training through residencies and fellowships, including at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the University of Michigan. He is a professor at MUSC Health University Medical Center since 2010. His clinical experience includes congenital heart defects, hypoplastic left heart syndrome, the Ross procedure, aortic root translocation and complex biventricular congenital heart repairs .
